Three Friends

As time goes by and we are changing in every single day. Also we are changing our friends. Someone disappear somewhere, others come from somewhere.  Every day is changing, people are changing and the leaves of the trees are also changing. I’d like to think less about the time, but he is still poking in my back with his unfair finger and reminding about himself. Does the time give more, than take away – it’s hard to say. In a few months, he changed my almost all friends. Now, I live with girls, who became my good friends – Valentina from Croatian and Macarena from Spain. When we met, we already knew that, we will have a good time together.

I met Valentina at Izmir airport and together we traveled to a new home. What can you say about Balkans girls? They are friendly, charismatic, have a good sense of humor. That’s Valentine. Then we are joking, we are who laughing most about our jokes, because Turkish people are avoid talking about some topics, for example, they never say anything or laughter about intimate jokes, they pretending did not hear or understand. And we are just laughing until tears starts showing. The same thing is with a dancing in a public place, at a club or at an event – they are just ashamed and afraid what others will think about them. Who are others when you live in a big city, in a big country? Valentine does not care, what others will think about her, of course, if her behavior does not hurt the others. Her profession is journalism, so she has lot courage to speak with people. She dreamed about Turkey for two years and when she arrived here, she walked in the streets very, very happy, while I was looking for ways to get used to living here. Together with Valentina we are volunteering in the same municipality and noticed that, we are not interrupting each other but helping. Well, for example, we prepare and lead English conversation club for seniors and we share works without saying anything to each other.

After a few months later Macarena arrived in Turkey. Perhaps, the whole world knows dance and song by her name. She is still not tired, when someone starts singing or dancing, when she said her name. When you see Macarena in first time, you can be clearly understood from where she is, because the Spanish accent, the body language and the bright clothing style say everything. She is the first person, who is sleeping more than me in the morning, who is asking much more often taking to the photos, who is speaking loudly. But firstly, she is very warm, friendly and caring. Macarena comes in Turkey because for the love of the boy. But one day, that boy realized that, they cannot be together and disappear. Luckily, Macarena loves Turkey, and she just enjoy every day. How is romantic to cross the world because of the love. But we are all human, with big hearts.

We are all three different, but we have the same values of life, the same things of the character, which help us to walk in the streets without a fear. If you want to travel around the world, you must first let in and accept others people to your homeland. We are all different from a lot of things, like from religion, language, to the taste of favorite ice cream and habits just wake up in the morning. Different beliefs are not a reason to hate each other, it’s an opportunity to accept each other in the way they are. As a result of my roommates, I realized that, people from different corners of the world, could become a friends, learn a lot about each other, but you have just allow those corners in your heart.

Time gives us unforgettable moments, create us as personalities who seek their dreams, share love and sadness. Time gives us people, who are important to us, but at the same time, it take away them. We must be grateful for the opportunity to get, to know each other and for a little time in our lives. Do not waste time with hesitation, bad thoughts or standing in one place. We will never have time to recover, and in fact, we do not have anything else, just our time.
