April is an amazing month in Adana. Spring arrives earlier to this town than it does to most other parts of the country. Early april, when the scent of the charming orange flowers dominate the city and seduce the people of Adana. Coming to the most awaited event of the year – Orange Blossom Carnival – I can say that there is no need to go to Rio de Janeiro for the carnival.
I had the chance to travel to this city for the carnival thanks to two great people, participants in the English Conversation Clubs, whose family lives in Adana. They invited me to travel together with them and spend a whole week in the warm atmosphere of a traditional family in Adana. Words can’t explain how lucky I feel myself for getting to know such amazing and kind people. I would like to express my appreciation to my friends for seeing me as part of their family and for showing me and making me live their beautiful culture. 🤲🏾🤲🏾🤲🏾
Being a foreigner in Turkey is a great thing. These people really love foreigners and treat them very well. ESPECIALLY ADANA PEOPLE😍😍 Once again, becoming an EVS volunteer proved to be one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. 🇷🇴🇪🇺🇹🇷
There will soon be a post about things to visit and, most importantly, things to eat while in ADANA.🤩🤩
